Dr. Venkat Sethuraman, MD

Dr. Venkat Sethuraman is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained spine specialist who completed advanced training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic. With over 20 years of experience and more than 1,000 spine surgeries performed, he specializes exclusively in back and neck conditions, with a focus on minimally invasive spine surgery.

Dr. Sethuraman is highly skilled in advanced minimally invasive techniques that allow many procedures to be performed on an outpatient basis through small incisions. He remains at the forefront of both surgical and non-surgical spine care and treats patients from across the Dallas area and internationally.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University (magna cum laude), his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In 2017, he also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, combining his medical expertise with advanced business knowledge.

Dr. Sethuraman practices in Dallas, Texas, and is affiliated with multiple hospitals throughout the region. He is an active member of leading professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
