Dr. Michael W. Hennessy, MD

Dr. Michael Hennessy is a native Texan through and through. He isprivileged to call himself a member of the Sons of the Republic ofTexas, and is proud to call Dallas home. Dr. Hennessy was born in Dallas to a family with three other siblings.He earned his undergraduate education at Southern MethodistUniversity where he majored in mathematics and graduated summacum laude and was valedictorian of his class. Dr. Hennessy then wenton to Georgetown University School of Medicine in WashingtonD.C. to obtain his medical degree where he graduated cum laude. Hemoved back to Texas when he matched in Orthopedic surgeryresidency at The University of Texas Southwestern. It was during histime at UTSW that he met his wife, Fallon. The couple has twochildren. After completing the rigorous training program at UTSW andParkland Hospital, Dr. Hennessy moved to San Diego, Californiawhere he completed his spine surgery fellowship under the guidanceof Dr. Behrooz Akbarnia.
