Wound care and hyperbarics

The Methodist Hospital for Surgery's Center for Wound Care & Hyperbarics is designed to serve those patients needing specialized attention for wound conditions. Our team of physicians, nurses and technicians design treatment plans individualized to each patient's needs considering their age, mobility and co-existing conditions to achieve the best results in the shortest time. Hyperbaric treatments are often part of the treatment plan for their ability to accelerate the healing process.

The Center is made up of a team of professionals, including:

  • Physicians with advanced training in wound management and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
  • Nursing staff trained in the care of chronic wounds.
  • Technicians who perform non-invasive studies and various therapies.
  • Staff to assist with appointments, medical records and health insurance processing.

We look forward to serving you. Please contact a member of our staff with any other questions you may have regarding your therapy.
