Where do I park and how much does it cost?
Methodist Hospital for Surgery offers free parking to all patients and their guests. Patient parking is available on the north side of the building and the main entrance is on the east side, next to the Dallas Parkway.
What dining options are available at the hospital?
The café at Methodist Hospital for Surgery serves breakfast and lunch Monday - Friday. Breakfast is served from 7:00am to 9:30am and lunch from 11:00am to 1:30pm. Cash, check with valid ID, and all major credit cards are accepted.
Methodist Hospital for Surgery offers room service for all inpatients. A nurse will discuss this with you when you are transferred to our inpatient unit.

What can my family and friends do while I'm in surgery?
Guests of same day patients are encouraged to wait in our comfortable waiting area while their loved one is under our care. We offer complementary coffee, cable television and Wi-Fi internet access. Guests of inpatients may choose to meet their loved in their private room two to three hours after their surgery.
How can my family reach me at the hospital?
Only inpatients can be reached during their stay at the hospital. Guests can call our inpatient unit at 469-248-3900 and the call will be transferred to the patient's room. Due to the brevity of their stay, same day patients may not be reached.
When can my family and friends visit me?
Family and friends can visit you during general visiting hours, which are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
Do you offer translation services?
Yes. If you need assistance, interpreter services are available by contacting a hospital employee.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Methodist Hospital for Surgery accepts cash, cashier's checks, all major credit cards, and personal checks with a valid ID.
Who can I call if I need financial assistance?
If you require individual financial arrangements, please call our business office at 469-248-3917 prior to your surgery to discuss alternative methods of payment. Our patient account representatives are available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to discuss financial arrangements with you.
